What is bellow seal globe valve？

The bellows globe valve adopts a bellows structure inside, and the lower end of the stainless steel bellows is welded to the valve stem to prevent the process fluid from eroding the valve stem. Bellows globe valve is an industrial globe valve, which can also be called oil field valves, oil gas valves, oil & gas valves, etc. according to the actual application. The other end is placed between the valve body and the valve cover to form a static seal. The double sealing design will avoid leakage if the bellows fails the valve stem packing. The bellows is welded to the valve stem to maintain stable operation performance and avoid the valve stem vibration caused by the valve plug vibration. It is most suitable for pipelines of steam, flammable, explosive, heat transfer oil, high purity, toxic and other media.

How Bellows Sealed Globe Valves Work？

A bellows-sealed globe valve is a compact control valve that uses a bellows-sealed stem component. There is a bellows inside the bellow seal globe valve, and the lower end of the stainless steel bellows is welded to the valve stem to prevent the medium in the pipeline from eroding the valve stem. The other end is located between the valve body and the bonnet to form a permanent seal. This double seal configuration eliminates leakage, i.e. even if the bellows collapses, the stem packing will prevent further leakage. The bellows is welded on the valve stem to ensure stable working efficiency and prevent the valve stem from vibration caused by the movement of the valve core.
