Forged Steel Check Valve

Brief introduction

Forged steel check valve refers to the valve that automatically opens and closes the valve flap by relying on the flow of the medium itself to prevent the backflow of the medium. The check valve is an automatic valve whose main function is to prevent the backflow of the medium and the discharge of the medium in the container. Check valves can be mainly divided into swing check valves (rotating according to the center of gravity) and lift check valves (moving along the axis).

Forged steel check valve disc and valve seat sealing surface are made of cobalt-based cemented carbide plasma spray welding with high hardness, erosion resistance and durability. It is suitable for cutting off or connecting the medium on the pipeline of the oil, chemical industry, hydraulic power, thermal power station and other working conditions with a nominal pressure of PN1.6～42.0Mpa and a working temperature of 600℃, which plays a role in preventing the backflow of the medium. Applicable media are water, oil, steam, gas and some corrosive liquid media.

Structural features

1. The upper cavity guide sleeve of the hard alloy valve body is made of stainless steel to ensure the flexible action of the valve disc;

2. The sealing surface of valve disc and valve seat is made of cobalt-based cemented carbide plasma spray welding with high hardness, erosion resistance and durability;

3. Pressure sealing design and high-purity graphite gasket ring to ensure high air tightness;

4. The middle cavity of the valve adopts a pressure self-tightening sealing structure, the higher the inner cavity pressure, the better the sealing performance;

5. The valve disc rotates around the pin shaft outside the valve seat to reduce the violent impact when closing.

Forged steel check valve should pay attention to the problem

Forged steel valves often ignore the problem of grease injection. After the grease injection gun is filled with oil, after the operator selects the valve and the grease injection connection method, there are two situations when the grease injection operation is performed: on the one hand, the amount of grease injection is small, the grease injection is insufficient, and the sealing surface is accelerated due to the lack of lubricant. On the other hand, excessive grease injection results in waste. The main reason is that there is no accurate calculation of the sealing capacity of different valves according to the valve type category. The sealing capacity can be calculated according to the valve size and type, and then a reasonable amount of grease can be injected.
