What is swing type nrv valve?

nrv valve is short for check valve, so swing type nrv valve is short for swing type check valve. There are many types of check valves, but their main functions are similar at their core. Check valves basically only allow flow to move in one direction. Therefore, they are also called one-way valves. NRVs are also considered a two-way valve because they have two openings: one for the outlet and the other for the incoming fluid. NRVs generally do not require manual assistance and operate automatically. Therefore, most NRVs do not have stems or handles.

The working principle:

A valve that is opened and closed by the rotation of the valve stem around its own axis in the valve body.

Purpose:

Swing check valve is suitable for nominal pressure PN1.0MPa~42.0MPa, Class150-2500;

Nominal diameter DN15~1200mm, NPS1/2~48;

It is used to prevent the backflow of the medium on various pipelines with a working temperature of -196~540℃.

By choosing different materials, it can be applied to various media such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, strong oxidizing medium and urea.

The main material:

Carbon Steel, Low Temperature Steel, Duplex Steel (F51/F53), Titanium Alloy, Aluminum Bronze, Inconel (INCONEL625), SS304, SS304L, SS316, SS316L; Chrome Molybdenum Steel, Monel (400/500), 20 #Alloy, Hastelloy and other metal materials.

Features and uses:

1. It has the function of lifting and lowering pressure, but the opening and closing torque is small, which is suitable for low pressure occasions;

2. Large fluid resistance and small flow resistance;

3. Good sealing performance and no leakage, so the use reliability is strong;

4. Compact structure and light weight;

5. Easy installation and easy maintenance.
